January Favorite's Time!!!!!!!

So my keyboard is dunzo, therefore I'm typing this blog with my iPhone. You're
welcome.
I hope 2013 has been amazing thus far. I have a lot of new favorites as well as
some rediscovered treats!
Let's start!

I got the coolest Bonne Bell Lip Smackers in my stocking this Xmas! It was the
trio of Girl Scout cookie inspired Smackers (there are more!): Thin Mint, Samoas and Trefoils.
Oooh girl! I have always been a fan of Bonne Bell and Girl Scout cookies, so
this is a marriage made in chubby girl heaven! Lip Smackers are hands down the
best product to use before applying lipstick, as they really prime the lips and
fill in any dry area so that any lip product applied afterwards will go on like
a dream!
Trick of the Trade: grab your favorite lip liner line lips and apply your
favorite Bonne Bell Lip Smacker for a tasty set of lips. I went there.

Speaking of lips, Maybelline has gone off the deep end with all their new
lipsticks. I'm just starting to try all of them out but the one that sticks out
is the Color Whispers. BTW, as a Bronx Tale lover, I always feel like saying,
"Jimmy Whispuh's!"
Color Whispers are the closest to Chanel's Rouge Coco Shine formula. They go on slick like
RCS and feel equally as lightweight while imparting awesome color.
The color I chose is Lust For Blush. The color is like a marriage of Chanel's
Rouge Coco Shine in "Boy" and Rouge Coco "Mademoiselle". Hmm, hermaphrodite?
Anyway, it's lovely and is a beautiful cool mauve. I'm living for it! I can wear
this with a dramatic eye look or with a clean, natural look.
I'm anxious to get more of these and get some of the new Vivid line as well.
Stay tuned!

Back in the pre-child days, when I had more cash on hand, my holy grail hair
products were from the Unite line. It's a spendy line, but after getting it from
Kara for Xmas (my 1 year old really knows me), I will find a way to keep this
stock piled.
The 7 Seconds leave in conditioner smells of angels wings! It works better at
conditioning and detangling my ratchet pile of hay I call hair. I have used many
different conditioners this last year and a half, but I will be permanently
returning to this. Everything else either detangled my hair but left it looking
like I dipped my hair in a bucket of KFC, or made me look like Joyce Carol Oates.

Yeah, all I do is wash my hair and towel dry, then spray evenly and literally 7
seconds later my hair is conditioned and can be combed through without snags.
When dry my hair looks and smells beautiful and healthy. This is here to stay.

I am an eBay junky. E'erbody knows this about me. I recently got a polish from
Chanel off eBay, Django and I already am foreseeing a summer of tanned hands
with this opalescent champagne nude polish on my nails.
Django really is the most chic polish in the nude or champagne family. It looks
so chic on short nails. I think this, along with Rimmels Steel Grey, is a polish
that looks appropriate for evening or daytime, dressed up or in jammies. It just
works.

I've long been a fan of Targets candles but their Red Velvet Cupcake is
delightful. It really makes the house smell like you've been baking all day and
truly smells like Red Velvet. Lord it's fabulous and burns so clean and burns
forever!

My new favorite lip liners come from Jordana. I've used their navy liner "Denim"
for about a year now and always loved how it applied and the pigment, I just
didn't realize how much I'd love their "Easyliners" for eyes AND lips!
These liners remind me of the Prescriptive liners in both shade selection and
quality. They are all stand outs but the Rockin Rose and Sedona Red. I normally
don't enjoy using a red liner with red lipstick because of how shitty it looks
when your lipstick wears off. Think of a baboons butt. Not cute. This liner,
however, doesn't bleed, is a neutral red that compliments cool and warm reds and
also is a knock out as a matte red lip color on it's own.

It's not a favorites list without a fragrance! I finally bit the bullet and got
myself Guerlains Petite Robe Noire. I had a deluxe sample from Sephora and
treasured it as if it were gold. The scent reminds me of Lolita Lempicka but
with a little more class. Clean, floral and fruity without being cheap, sleazy
or cloying. I feel very put together and grown up when I wear this. This isn't a
mall rat fragrance. I'm looking in your general direction Coach Poppy!
All right lovies, I hope to greet you next week with a new blog post written
with a new keyboard!
