Bella Swan's Makeup

With so many raves about Bella Swans makeup in Breaking Dawn : 2, I couldn't
resist duplicating the look. It's surprisingly wearable, minus the red eyes of
course. No offense to the albino's out there ;)

Start off by priming your eye lids with a neutral light beige or flesh tone
primer. For this look I used MAC's Painterly.
Using a fluffy shadow brush, apply Wet N Wild's shadow in Brûlée on the brow
bone.
Starting in the crease, apply Wet N Wild's Nutty and blend down onto the lid.
This will create a beautiful ombre effect when we apply the next couple shades.
I lined the bottom lashline with Nutty, from outer to inner corner.
Using a firm contour shadow brush apply The Balms Matt Batali, concentrating the
color only on the outer edge of the brow bone. Then sweep down across the lash
line, creating a slight "v" shape.

Take a clean blending brush and buff the edges of the Matt Batali shade.
Using the same contour brush, I applied a bronzer from ELF, slightly below the
crease and blending. The contrast between this warm bronze and the cool matte
crease color is gorgeous!
Next were going to clean up any fall out under the eyes with concealer. I used
ELF's concealer for this look and blended with a clean shadow brush. I like
using shadow brushes to blend concealer because it looks more seamless and less
painted on.
Thankfully my skin is in great condition so I didn't need to use much foundation
at all. For this look I mixed a pump of L'oreals True Match Lumi with my
Shiseido Bioperfomance moisturizer. This combo gives a luminous finish with
light coverage.
To set my face I used Chanel loose translucent powder.
Using a small blush brush or fan brush, apply a highlighter (For this look I
used Albatross from NARS, a golden white powdered highlighter), above
cheekbones, center of forehead, bridge of the nose and cupids bow. This
simulates that shimmery Cullen skin.
I also used this on the inner corner of both eyes for a brightening effect.
For contouring, instead of using a mocha color, I used some of the taupe grey
shadow, Nutty. Yes I have Nutty on my face. Zing. Really tho, this is such an
appropriate color to create a contour. To create a soft contour, start at the
hairline, sweep diagonally. Using your eyebrow as a guide, the stopping point
should be under your cheekbone, lined up with the arch of your eyebrow.
Make sure to use your powder brush to really blend your contour, no one wants to
be known as Skidmark Face!

After you have blended your face, clean up the eyebrows with a clean angled
shadow brush or spooly. To fill in with color, I like to use a powder for my
eyebrows as it looks softer and lasts longer. For this look I used Embark from
MAC.
Finish eyes with mascara. You can add false lashes for added drama, but for me,
I used Chanel's new mascara that gives me loads of volume and length.
Are we done yet? Almost!
We gotta have lips! Apply a cool matte red, Cherry Picking from Wet N Wild,
with an ombré effect with the color being emphasized on the center of the inner
lip. Using your finger tip, blend color outwards. This creates the perfect Bella
lip!
I adore this look and have worn it several times this winter and I have to say,
this look has garnered more compliments than ANY other look I've had in years. I
really think that anyone can pull this look off too. If you shy away from reds,
remember this is applied with a light hand. At least try it and if you still are
scared, use a rosy lip balm like Cherry Me from Maybellines Baby Lips.
What is your most complimented look? Let me know!
