Life has been quite a rollercoaster and I haven't been as good about posts as I initially promised. 
I don't want to air my dirty laundry to my readers, but understand, I just haven't been up to writing until lately.

I'm a huge Khloé Kardashian and Kylie Jenner fan and have taken more than a few cues from them when it comes to beauty. 
It's the two of them that inspired me when it came to my New Years resolution, specifically, manicures.

Since November I've entered the brave new world of the faux fingernails. I didn't think I'd go down that well traveled 90's road again, but the Kardashian/Jenner ladies have made it glam again.

After seeing the above post from Khloé's BFF Malika Haqq, my goal is to book an appointment with Chaun at Enamel Diction in L.A. He's the guru of manicures in Los Angeles and has elevated the world of nail art, literally turning nails into mini masterpieces with each client!
This is the epitome of chic! I love bling and multicolored nails at times, but this look is my ultimate favorite. By marrying matte polish (Dolente 64 by presto) with the coffin shape, her nails are on trend but not over the top. This is an instant classic and a perfect alternative to the squared off nail.
